Acting Biog

Theresa Cole produced and acted in “When Mars Meets Venus,” (Click title to view on You Tube), which was shown on Sky 198 and at the Edinburgh International Film Festival this year. She appeared in “Overrated” at Odeon Cinema, Covent Garden two months ago.

Theresa had a tiny cameo role in David Cronenberg’s “Eastern Promises” driving along side Naomi Watts and was featured in “Ravioli,” in the East End Film Festival at the Genesis Cinema. She enjoyed acting the lead as Barbie in “Playtime,” which was shown at the Swiss and Chili Film Festivals.

Theresa appeared in Play Station 3, Icelandic Express Club and Tango commercials as well as “Crimewatch Uk” shown on Anglia TV. She acted as a nurse in “Boston Kickout,” which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 1996, cinemas and channel 4, starring John Simm and Andrew Lincoln.

She toured nationally to theatres with “Talent” by Victoria Wood, starring Freddie Davies, John Junkin, Mina Anwar and Sarah Moffet. This experience was hightlighted with meeting the truly wonderful Victoria Woods.

Theresa loved playing the mouthy aggraphobic Margaret in Sue Townsend’s “Bazaar and Rummage;” She performed Shakespeare’s Portia and Beatrice in Stately Home gardens and parks, as well as Quince in the musical “Dream Nights” at the Gordon Craig Theatre directed by Michael Cross. Pantomimes include “Jack and the Beanstalk,” performed at the Century Theatre as well as touring with “Aladdin” and “Cinderella.”

Theresa has written and acted in a few comedy sketch shows with professionals like Russell Brand. She started out as an impressionist/entertainer in her teens and early twenties at Butlins and Ladbrokes. Theresa works as a roleplayer and has extensive corporate experience.
